Bucharest welcomed Adriano Mauro, our Managing Director, with blue skies and full spring bloom. He was impressed by the city’s vibrancy, the beauty of its historical centre, and the energy of university students animating the campus area.

As part of its ongoing commitment to promoting knowledge and technology transfer between Europe and Africa, AREA led the GreenVETAfrica Erasmus+ project, funded by the European Union, in collaboration with Asociación Mundus and partners from Ghana, CNOS-FAP Federation, Presbyterian Relief Services and Development, Whizzy Academy, as well as Nigeria’s Pan Atlantic University, IIT,  Lagos Waste Management Authority (LAWMA).
